来日二周年

自分では全く信じられないのですが、来日して２年が経ちました。光陰矢のごとしとよく言ったものです。年を重ねるにつれてますます真実味が増す言葉です。来日したのがまるで昨日の出来事のように感じます。
先日妻とこの事について話していた時、私は何か二周年記念のお祝いをしたいと提案しました。何がしたいのかと彼女が聞いてきたので、私は宅配ピザが食べたいと言いました。ささやかな願いでしょう。私はただピザが食べたかっただけだったんです。アメリカでは週に一度は必ず食べていたので、ピザを見るとアメリカが恋しくなります。
