英会話上達には色々な方法があります。どんな方法でやるかは現在の自分のレベルによって異なりますが、下記の方法を参考にしてください。もちろん良い英会話学校を見つけることは不可欠です。スミス英会話が他の大手英会話学校と違うところは、各校の先生がその学校のオーナーであるという点です。すなわち、生徒さんの上達は学校の成功に繋がっているので、生徒さんのケアにもとても力を入れています。英語で言えば “We have a strong vested interest in the success of our students in their pursuit to master English.  We know that our schools cannot succeed without doing all we can to help our students succeed.  This is the Smith’s Difference.”

下記の方法を試して下さい。

1. When you say something in Japanese, as much as possible think how to say it in English. いつも何か日本語で言う時、英語ならどう言うのだろうと考えながら話して下さい。
2. Keep a daily journal in English and ask your teacher to check and correct it. Then rewrite the corrected sentences. 英語で日記を書きましょう。先生に訂正してもらい、もう一度その訂正してもらった文章を清書して下さい。各段に英語が上達しますよ。
3. Watch movies over and over. ＤＶＤで映画を何回も見ましょう。きっと英会話上達に繋がります。
4. Write essays about your opinions on different issues.　Have your teacher check and correct them and then rewrite them. 色々な話題について自分の意見を英語で書きましょう。 先生にチェックしてもらい、間違った箇所を確認しながら清書しましょう。
5. Listen to the NHK/CNN/BBC TV news in English everyday. 毎日英語のCNN二ユーズ等を聞いて下さい。
6. Read a short English news article in the paper or on the net everyday. 毎日インターネットか英字新聞の短い記事を読むのも良い方法です。
7. Listen to songs and try to pick out the lyrics. Write them down and compare to lyrics downloaded from the Internet.  Do this again and again with other songs. 英語の歌を聴きながらその歌詞を書いてみましょう。次にその歌をインターネットで検索し自分のものと比較してみて下さい。これを色々な歌で何回もやっていけば貴方の英語力は驚くほどアップします。 Study English using Popular Music
8. Find an English speaking friend to challenge you to speak.  (Use Skype or messenger also.) 外国人と友達になって、毎日英語を使うチャンスを増やしましょう。スカイプかMS/Yahooメｯセンジャーでもその友達と会話が出来ます。
9. Practice asking and answering simple questions using SSEJapan channel or Eigomanokamoto channel or with a friend. (Japanese friend who also wants to be able to speak English is fine. Don’t worry! Practicing English will not cause you to forget Japanese!).スミス英会話がYou Tubeに提供している“SSEJapan チャンネル” 又は “Eigomanokamotoチャンネル”を使って英語の質問練習をして下さい。友達と英語で一日の予定について質問し合うのも効果的でしょう。（英語を話したい友達ならだれでもかまいません。心配しないで、いくら英会話を練習しても日本語は忘れませんよ。<笑>）Al’s Morning Routine on SSEJAPAN Simple Questions Part 1 on EigoManOkamoto
10. Read English blogs on the sse-franchise/soapbox everyday. スミス英会話が毎日更新している”SSE Soapbox”掲載のブログを読みましょう。SSE Soapbox.
